Kraken Logistics ("we", "us") is a licensed property broker arranging vehicle transport and brokering wholesale trades between franchise dealerships. This policy explains what information we hold, where it comes from, what we do with it, and how to have it removed.
Most of the information we hold is business contact information for dealership personnel — typically a work email address, name, job title, dealership name, and business phone number. We obtain it from:
This is business contact information for people acting in a professional capacity at a dealership. We do not seek out or knowingly collect personal email addresses or personal phone numbers of private individuals for marketing purposes.
When you request a quote, book a shipment, or make a trade enquiry, we collect what is needed to do the job: your name and contact details, vehicle information including VIN, pickup and delivery addresses, and correspondence relating to the transaction.
This website is a set of static pages. We do not use advertising trackers or sell website analytics data. Our hosting provider may log standard technical information such as IP address and browser type as part of delivering and securing the site.
We use business contact information to send business-to-business email about vehicle inventory, wholesale trades, and transport services. In practice that means:
Information you give us in the course of a transaction is used to carry out that transaction — which includes sharing the vehicle and address details with the motor carrier assigned to move the vehicle, because the move cannot happen otherwise.
Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can use it at any time. Unsubscribing takes effect promptly and we will not send you further marketing email. You may also ask to be removed by writing to admin@kraken-logistics.net, and we will honour that request the same way.
We may still contact you about an active shipment or transaction you are party to, because that is operational correspondence rather than marketing.
We do not sell, rent, or trade contact information to third parties, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. Information is shared only where it is necessary to do the work or where the law requires it:
We keep business contact information for as long as it remains relevant to our commercial relationship or until you ask us to remove it. Transaction records are kept as long as needed for the transaction and to meet our legal, tax and regulatory obligations as a licensed broker.
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
